Globe valve
Globe valve is a type which disc along the valve seat centerline movement. It¡¯s very suitable for control the medium, because of this type of valve¡¯s stem opening or closing at a short trip, and it has very reliable breaker function. Therefore, this type of valve is suitable for cutting, adjusting and throttling the medium. The selection principle of globe valve is as follow:
1, pipeline of media with high-temperature and high-pressure should be chosen globe valves.
2, used for the pipeline which is not care of flow resistance
3, for small valve, one can choose needle valve, instrument valve, sampling valve, etc.
4, flow regulating or pressure regulation, but for regulating accuracy is not high, and the pipe diameter and less than 50, such as nominal breath, appropriate chooses.
5, in the construction of urban water supply and heat supply engineering, can choose the globe valves, balance valve or piston valve, such as the piping less than DN150. The most obvious advantage is: between the process of the open and closed, the disc in the friction between the smaller than gate valves, so it is more wear-resisting. Usually there is only one sealing face in the valve body and disc, so it is convenient when maintenance
3, for small valve, one can choose needle valve, instrument valve, sampling valve, etc.
